Please be familiar with changes at Maplewood Dental before your visit.
Dear Maplewood Dental Patients,
While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your comfort and safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice as you have noticed during your dental appointments. Our office adheres to current Covid 19 infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Our infection control procedures are designed to keep dental care safe and comfortable.
You will see many changes at Maplewood Dental when it is time for your next appointment. These changes, outlined below, are designed to protect our patients and staff.
Our office will contact you before your appointment to ask a series of COVID-19 screening questions. You’ll be asked these same questions again when you come to the office and your temperature will be taken with a touchless thermometer.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. You will be asked to call the office at (561) 747-8808 when you arrive in the parking lot and remain in your car until we ask you to enter.
Please note that only patients will be allowed into the office unless a companion is absolutely necessary. We ask that additional guests remain in the car as we are currently not using our reception area. Once in the office, we will provide you with hand sanitizer to be used before being directed to the treatment room.
Do not bring any personal items into the office except your car keys and method of payment.
Please wear a mask or face covering when entering the office and keep it on prior to and after treatment.
We have installed clear protective shields at the front desk and will be regularly disinfecting frequently touched office surfaces throughout the day.
Bring a sweater to your appointment if you chill easily. Our staff will be wearing more protective clothing per updated CDC guidelines and and as a result our A.C. will be set lower than usual.
You will notice two new pieces of equipment in each treatment room. They both use hospital grade HEPA filtration to clean the air many times per hour in the entire office and especially where patients are treated. We are very proud to offer this extra protection for the health of our staff and patients.
We will make every effort to keep check out “touch free” by utilizing emails for any paperwork. We prefer payment at the time of service to be made through Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or credit cards.
